Rules, procedures, and terms for cancellations with Vacation India Online.

At Vacation India Online, we strive to make travel planning simple. However, we understand that travel plans can change. This page details the cancellation policies for various services booked through our portal.

Flight Cancellation Policy

As most airline tickets are 100% non-refundable, we highly recommend checking the ticket terms and conditions before purchasing, which are easily available under the “FARE RULES” section in the flight search results.

For Non-Refundable Tickets:

If an airline ticket is non-refundable, then under no circumstances will any refund be provided to the traveller. The traveller is also not eligible to claim refunds for unused taxes.
In the event of a flight schedule change or non-operation of flights, it will solely be the decision of the respective airlines whether they will provide a refund (partial/full) or alternative travel options.
In case of refund approval, vacationindiaonline.com may charge a convenience fee of up to INR 1,000 for Domestic flights and up to INR 3,000 for International flights, depending upon the booking situation or commitments.

For Refundable Tickets:

NOTE: No refund will be provided in case of a “no-show”.
Cancellation through Travel Agency: A request must be made at least 48 hours prior to departure (excluding weekends), or even earlier in the case of weekend departures, to cancel the flight reservation.
The customer needs to contact us over the phone and share an email requesting the ticket cancellation, mentioning the cancellation reason (optional). Airlines may provide full/partial refunds in documented medical cases.
Our agency will verify the cancellation policy with the airlines or ticket-issuing partner and will notify you regarding the cancellation charges (including agency service fees) before finalizing the cancellation.
Cancellation through the Airlines: In case of an unforeseen reason or for cancellations between 24 to 6 hours prior to departure, customers can contact the airline directly to cancel the flight reservation. The airline staff will process it as per their terms and policies.
